Fantastic, EXCEPT for the small resolution. I thought modern apps were beyond that. 5 stars, otherwise.

Some apps are neat to use for a couple of weeks and then you forget about them. Not so with SketchGuru. I use it many times a week for fun and to illustrate messages. Drawings wow everyone I share them with. For those of us who cant even draw an emoticon face, this app is freakin amazing. No, I am not connected with the app other than a fan.

Useful, but crashes often.

Just got this app today after searching a long time for a cartooning/sketching app and this one seem to have everything, even more than I expected.

Really good app. It would become even better if it was possible to save at a higher resolution.

Im 1,000% unaffiliated, unpaid, unswayed SketchGuru app user & rater. Bottom line, this app is an asset. Its fun, quick, simplistic, user-friendly. 10/23/15 was my 1st time utilizing this FREE, non-run-of-the-mill, photo creativity-enabling app. I intentionally experimented w/a "perfect"selfie: Full cosmetics, unexposed blemishes, hair down & styled. Tinkered w/SketchGurus newest photo-adjustable features: Lighting, brightness & color saturation as fit for this already no-editing-needed photo. Saved final outcome to phones photo gallery. Theres also the option to share SketchGurus pictures to various apps. Next, I intentionally took horrible selfie: Zero cosmetics, exposed blemishes, hair pulled back & no styling. Again, same fashion as above, I tinkered w/SketchGurus photo-adjustable feats as fit for this editing-needed pic. Results: Wish I could post before/after versions of the 2 experiments. "Retouching Photo Genius" review title says it all. This apps use provided a better understanding to me as to why people retouch/modify their photos. It delivers the ability to have fun w/sketch-versions of pics. Or, simply retouch & make them virtually perfect! Unsure if SketchGurus initial intent was to enact a retouching-like service when they added their newest photo-adjustable features. Retouching is an added benefit.

This app is fun. One can use it to learn to draw. Its interesting to view the same picture in different illustration styles.

I have seen this app run, but on my iPhone 6s iOS 9, when I go to launch it it just shuts down the app. I have tried removing Sketch Guru and then reinstalling, also rebooted my phone, also checked for updates. No luck, any ideas?

I love that it does exactly what its supposed to do and it may not have too many other settings but its great!

I am learning: there is no free lunch. Really, Remove ads cost $3.99 Regarding program the filters produce a wide range of technique outcome if only the user accidentally captured a simple beginning unlikely since no drawing is allowed. This NOT a drawing app.

i enjoy these even more than Instagram and Photoshop filters. Great fun!
